Our Future Direction

The Future Direction Committee is a very active committee of All Saints Cathedral Parish.  The Committee focuses on the internal and external mission of the Parish, listening to your suggestions and new ideas and implementing many new concepts into action through various ministries. The Committee endeavors to share the Gospel of Jesus with the parish community and its friends. The Future Direction Committee wants others to know the love of God as manifested in His believers and wants everyone to know that they are important and loved.  Everyone is an integral part of the Body of Christ.

 

The Future Direction Committee’s ministries include the following:


  • Community Outreach
  • Hearts of Love
  • College Student Outreach
  • Birthday Brigade
  • Military Members Outreach
  • On-Call Greeters Ministry

 

The Committee maintains current contact flyers in the vestibule and distributes them to area venues.  Mass Intention envelopes and Prayer Request Cards which have been recently developed are now available in the pews and vestibule, and a Welcome Booklet and New Membership materials for those interested in learning more about the Parish as well as the Polish National Catholic Church are in the development stages.

 

The Future Direction Committee participates in various activities throughout the year with remembrances for Valentine’s Day, the Lenten season, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, along with sponsoring a Christmas Card exchange.   The Committee also supports the Parish on Clergy Appreciation Sunday, provides assistance relating to the Veteran’s Memorial Project, hosts Fellowship Hour several times throughout the year, reaches out to shut-ins, and leads book discussions.  The Committee will also be hosting a Blessing of Animals Event in October this year.


We are all Ambassadors for Jesus Christ. We are His Joyful Disciples.  We are His hands and His feet in today’s world. Please open your heart, mind and soul to God’s unconditional love, His abundant generosity and His omnipotent power.
